dark thoughts ; dark shadows :

haunting you ; possessing you from time to time with no evident reason

it englobes your world and with it your spirit ...

Deep inside , you want to be happy 

deep inside , you are happy

but those dark thoughts takes the lead...

very tiny issues with very big impacts : let's say even if you were not depreesed but you are presenting the perfect field.

So those dark thoughts are truthfully an alarm clock for you : telling you that you are living a lie ; you are living seperately from your enorm joy ; kept away by closed door 

In a way , it is giving you the opportunity to make a choice 

 to be the author of your destiny
